Energy Recovery’s Quality Management System has been registered to ISO 9001 since 2014, and is currently registered to the most recent ISO 9001:2015. This is a globally recognized standard used to help ensure we can consistently provide products and services that meet customer, regulatory, and statutory requirements while continually improving our processes.
ISO 45001
Energy Recovery is committed to protecting the lives and livelihoods of our employees by providing a safe and healthy work environment. As part of this commitment, we developed a Safety Management System (SMS) and certified it to the ISO 45001:2018 standard in 2021, covering all of our facilities. Within our SMS, we have implemented processes to identify and reduce risk, developed a comprehensive training program for our employees, ensure leadership engagement and ownership, and embedded the SMS in business practices throughout the organization, including Procurement and Contractor Management.
ISO 14001
Energy Recovery is committed to actively reducing our impact on the environment. A cornerstone of this commitment is our Environmental Management System (EMS), which we certified to the ISO 14001:2015 standard in 2022, covering all of our facilities. Our EMS drives us to examine our internal and external processes and the impact they have on the environment, as well as placing controls that not only reduce that impact, but also continually improve our environmental performance as an organization. Energy Recovery has an external third party conduct surveillance audits annually and recertification audits every three years for our Environmental Management System. Additionally, the system is audited by our internal audit team annually.
