As we celebrate our 30-year anniversary at Energy Recovery, we also celebrate the third year of our formal Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) program. While our rigorous approach to ESG is relatively new, the goal of enhancing sustainability for our customers and the world has been with us since the very beginning.
We continue to support this goal in substantial and important ways. In this report, for example, we are sharing for the first time our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This milestone, part of our response to the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), is a testament to our commitment to greater transparency, operational efficiency, and making a positive impact.
